ADHD Testing Results & Report Release Policy

As part of our clinical process, ADHD testing results are reviewed with your provider during a scheduled results appointment rather than being released in advance.

Testing is only one component of a comprehensive evaluation. Results must be interpreted alongside your clinical history, current symptoms, level of functioning, and other relevant factors before any conclusions or recommendations are finalized.

Because testing reports often include raw data and technical language, reviewing them without clinical interpretation can lead to misunderstandings or incomplete conclusions. For this reason, we prioritize discussing results with you directly so your provider can clearly explain what the findings do—and do not—mean, and outline appropriate next steps.

To ensure fairness, consistency, and non-discriminatory practices across all patients, this policy is applied uniformly and without exceptions, regardless of a patient’s professional background, training, or familiarity with clinical material.

Following your results appointment, once the provider has completed and finalized the visit documentation, your full report will be made available to you through the patient portal.

This process is designed to ensure accuracy, clarity, and the highest quality of care for every patient.
